The Enamelling Process

Each enamelled jewellery piece that I make, is torch fired by hand. Glass has a mind of it's own and there are lots of considerations to make when creating a new piece. Thin layers of jewellery grade glass enamels are sifted onto raw copper and fired. The temperature of the torch, the environment and the copper compounds all affect the end product. This makes every piece unique and gives beautiful effects to the jewellery.
